Gorgeous place. The water is cold so it is perfect on a hot day. The lake is surrounded by red rocks. Very nice. There is a fee to get in.

Stayed 3 nights at this facility. We had Spot# 4 on WS. Great spot with lots of space between other campers. Clean restrooms. Only negative part was the entrance. With all the weekend activities, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have the second lane...More

There is an area for swimming and diving which was sectioned off from boats. Large rock outcrop island great for paddling with hidden coves to explore. Beautiful scenery. Not all areas have beach. The water was very clear in April and not crowded at all....More

Was Presidents Day Weekend which is predictably going to busy so why was only 1 of 3 entrance stations staffed? Waited in line for almost 30 minutes to pay to get in for the day. Once in was lots of fun.

Went ATVing with friends at Sand Hollow State Park. Downloaded an interactive map of the area from dixie4wheeling.com which made the trip much more enjoyable. There are also signs posted along the trails to show you where you are. The scenery is breathtaking.

No there is not WiFi at the sites. I was told that the dive shop next to the campground has it but I didn’t try.

I visited last summer and no, we did not pay a day pass fee. However, we did arrive a 1/2 day early before our reservation, and they did ask for a day pass fee to get in, and then refunded it when our camping spot opened up.
