Very long drive for very little reward. Last 10 miles took an hour in a 4x4 vehicle. We drove the entire length then drove back. Drive was not worth the resulting view. Would not recommend.

Interesting drive but you must have an SUV. On the way back from the canyon, we ended up with a flat tire and had to change the in 109f temp.

Well graded road to so many beautiful spots. Taking a car down this road is no problem at all. Some of the side roads may need higher clearance but we went 33 miles no issues

We drove down the road in a Mazda. There were some tricky spots with large puddles or rough road but we were able to go around and reach the end of the road. Beautiful views of Lake Powell! Especially if you scramble up the rocks...More

You need to use this road to get to the hiking trails; you have no other choice. You and your vehicle will be bouncing around, creating a dust storm for others on the road. Sometimes, you will find a smooth spot on the road but...More

Remote Road taking you to hikes and slot canyons, and if you persevere and have a very tough vehicle you can go all the way to the end and see Lake Powell. It's very very badly washboarded though. I did it in a 2WD and...More

Our guide took us to some secret slot canyons off the trail with no footprints..the best. Very dusty dirt /gravel road ..washboard for long stretches. Need detailed map or a guide to find good spots to explore.
