We had time for a quick hike and a friend recommended we go to Brighton. We did the Lake Mary trail which only took about 1.5 hours. Beautiful on the way up with great views and Lake Mary itself was stunning. Highly recommend.

Brighton is one of my favorite fall hiking spots. Silver Lake and the trails in the area are fabulous. We saw moose, deer, chipmunks, hawks. Always a fun time at Brighton 💕

We drove up during August to get away from the heat in the city. We hiked and enjoyed the cooler weather. The resort was beautiful. The difference in temp was about 30 degrees and we had a great picnic.

A little work to get up to Brighton. I prefer taking the shuttle bus especially on snowy days. Once there, it is not crowded if you go on week-days. If there is a storm, you may have more crowds and catch the shuttle bus earlier...More

This was my first ski trip to Utah. I chose Brighton because I tend to shy away from large uppity crowds. Brighton delivered! Immaculately groomed runs. Beautiful scenery. STELLAR ski school. Efficiently run. Can't wait for next season.

OH! It is the only deal in town. This is a wonderful location for drop in skiing. I wouldn't want to stay here or eat here which is why they have a giant room for families to bring their lunch. Great equipment, great lifts and...More

The first experience here was a total cloud inversion, it happens when the air near the ground is cooler than the air above it, creating a sea of clouds, an incredible natural sight to look down on being above the clouds. The second was skiing...More

Read the reviews for Gorgoza Park. I've heard from others the lines can be long sometimes but they go every year. Their kid is now 9 and had a great time! (Dec 2014)
