Beautiful scenery! Really a nice route! Not a highway, and at times I understand it can back up with traffic. But a scenic drive, so if you're prepared for that, then you won't get too disappointed if you are slowed down some.

We drove this entire stretch and even though we were very behind "schedule" we could not stop ourselves from pulling over time and time again to take photos along this route. It was simply that amazing........

I have liittle to add, it is an excellent blacktop road, smooth and some curves. For a little adventure off road. Go 20 miles south of Hanksville, on State Route 95, hang a right on the scenic drive for the Henry Mountains. Real Bison and...More

We started in Torrey to Hanksville, then from Hanksville to Blanding on our motorcycle. I echo the other reviews-this is a amazing roadway and it was such a pleasure to have such little traffic. Some times it seemed like the road was put there for...More

Although there are 125 miles between these two cities it will be the rare occasion when you see another vehicle (or gas station). The scenery is incredible, the overlook of Lake Powell is definitely worth stopping at, and the views through the 60 mile stretch...More

If you can do this drive, if you are anywhere even remotely close, you must go. It is breathtaking on so many levels. I don't think I could ever get tired of it. The mountains, mesas, and rock formations are incredible. And then the two...More

We recently visited southern Utah and greatly enjoyed the Scenic Route 95 between Hanksville and the US-191 junction north of Blanding. This is a lovely drive with impressive viewpoints, land formations and ancient ruins to see. Route 95 is bit longer but nice way to...More

Amazing views but then what isn't in Utah? Perfect way to add a new leg to see Moki Dugway, Natural Bridges, and Goosenecks State Park. Don't forget Muley Point at the top of the dugway.

Otherworldly scenery with beautiful vistas which change depending on the time of day. Surprise canyons appear suddenly which pique the imagination and beg to be explored.

There was a campground in Hite Marina, The bad part is that Hite Marina is "closed" because the lake is low. What I mean with close is that officially is close, but you can still camp. Now you want to hear the great... More

No, don't believe there is any motel lodging along that route. You either have to stay in Hanksville or Blanding. It's pretty remote along that route. But it sure is beautiful.
