Fantastic forPhotography, hiking, scenery, if you are after the fim set you may be disappointed. Probably best done on a dry sunny day with a four wheel drive

You could spend days here hiking. Shotgun canyons and beautiful scenery are everywhere. You need to get a permit for the wave but all other areas are open. Just a great place

no point to write 100 letters here. Just drive by ad find out for yourself. Down by the river quite many snakes, watch under rocks before you sit down.

Paria Canyon Wilderness Area is close to Big Water, UTAH near Hwy 89 between Kanab, UT and Big Water, UT. The whole area is amazing with lots of multicolored sandstone formations and slot canyons.

Drive down a bumpy dirt road for about 8 miles to come to the trailhead called Wirepass. It is about a 2 mile easy hike one way to the slot canyons, and from there you can hike on as long as you wish. Very beautiful!

A guide, an off-road vehicle and the place to ourselves! What more can you want? The photo opportunities, the inside knowledge all made for an excellent, personalised visit!

We spent a night camped here before hiking Paria Canyon. There were trees to provide shade, grass for walking and playing, a nice bathroom (large and clean), and lots of space for RVs. They also have horseback trips (we just camped). There aren't many places...More
