It's taken me a couple months to get back to my review of Paria Outpost. I just wanted to stay there ...we were staying in Page, AZ where we explored the slot canyons. Big Water is about a half hour away in Utah. I had read online that this was a great hike so I wanted to check it out.... More

Fantastic guide! I wish I had a guide like Steve on every trip. Words cannot describe his hospitality. We felt like VIPs the entire time. We started our tour from an outpost that is located 1 hour closer than Kanab from Coyote Buttes so our tour was two hours longer than usual, and we walked through 3 major points of... More

We had an incredible trip with Steve. We encounter all sorts of weather, light snow, rain etc but Steve made it seem very safe the entire hike. Very knowledgable and a great understanding of both the geography and history of the local countryside. I will definitely book more trips.

We booked a tour of White Pocket at short notice, as we were passing through and Steve and Susan from Paria Outpost and Outfitters were amazing with the level of service and hospitality they provided. I truly recommend taking a tour with them as they were so incredibly friendly, informative and the tour was very personal. Steve was very professional... More

We spent the day with Steve of Paria Outfitters on a tour of South Coyote Butte and White Pocket. The scenery and tour was fantastic but what struck us more was what Steve did to help complete strangers. On the way out 3 young ladies were stuck in the sand. Steve stopped and pulled them out but refused any payment.... More

If you can get a permit for Coyote Buttes, head to Paria Outpost for a wonderful guided hike. Susan Dodson took my husband and I and two other people on a personal guided hike of the Buttes. She made the day extremely special with her knowledge of the geology and photography tips. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

This is a great, friendly but professional husband and wife venture. They were the first to apply for ,and be granted ,a licence to guide in this wonderful area and we chose them to take us to White Pocket after reading glowing reviews. We had no regrets whatsoever and were treated to a very memorable day with Susan as our... More

Steve took us to see the South Coyote Butte area. He's a great guy and super knowledgeable about the area. We spent all day, it was well worth it. We will definitely call them again for another tour the next time we're in the area.

Our trip to the Wave had been great with Dallas! He was experience and know where to bring us to see the beautiful views. We went to the boneyard, dinosaur tracks and the 2nd Wave! We had enough time to spend at The Wave and Dallas had never rush us at any points! Btw, avocado sandwich made by Susan was... More
