Clark Gardens Botanical Park welcomes visitors all year long. The breathtaking 35 acre oasis awakens the senses, stirs the spirit and relaxes the mind. From the first spring blossoms to the colorful fall and into the stillness of winter there is a sense of magic. Wheelchair accessible pathways wind through lavish ribbons of color and fragrance. Waterfalls sparkle in the sunlight splashing down to ponds and lakes where black and white swans, along with other waterfowl, glide in the shimmering waters. You may see peacocks strutting, or get a glimpse of blue herons or great egrets swooping down, their huge wingspans casting shadows over the lakes.

I have been visiting since moving to Weatherford. The place has grown and become even more beautiful. They keep adding more events and enlarging the facility. My husband and I have been members for five years. The place never disappoints me.

In April 2016 we were married at Clark Gardens. We searched so many places and knew when we found this place, that was it. It's breathtaking - especially in the Spring. We were very happy about our selection. The only thing I would say is that the property is very strict with vendors so make sure that you have them... More

This place is been known to be a regularly scheduled annual visit from primary school children for over 50 years. You may catch a fleeting glimpse of one as they chase one another's smiles through the many paved paths that meander thru the grounds It is a rose garden, a flower garden, a place for water to gently tumble down... My husband and I have visited here since 2007 and have watched it grow. We married here in 2010. Fun place to get outside and get garden ideas, car shows, food shows, model trains. Beautiful venue for parties too!

The gardens are expansive and lovely with walkways on every turn and events in the pavilion like the model train show last weekend. Another train goes through the outside year around. In addition there is a trackless train that the children love. The facility has a food truck with good BBQ. I look forward to seeing it in in the... More

I was working for a company that sent me to Clark Gardens for a festival. What a surprise this was because I didn't even know a garden this beautiful existed here in Parker County. There are huge shade trees, flowers and fountains over acres of walk ways. There are wonderful facilities for weddings and other types of gatherings. This is... More

Clark Gardens is a special place that we take our students each year. Mr. Clark is a sweet man that you might get the opportunity to see with his dog on his golf cart. There are also peacocks that you will hear and possibly see. This is a very beautiful place that I highly recommend visiting.

We stopped here after visiting the Vietnam War Memorial nearby, only to find the garden is not open during the summer - tours by appointment only from July 4 through Labor Day. Be sure to check their website for seasonal opening hours and the phone number to try to arrange a special tour during the summer. We did not get... More
