We went on a Friday morning and pretty much had the zoo to ourselves. Very nice smaller zoo, well laid out and some great exhibits much better than I expected.

Cameron Park Zoo is a wonderfully laid out zoo. From the African safari to the Texas collection, every display is strategically placed. Located along the banks of the Brazos River, it is also quite scenic.

The Cameron Park Zoo was a perfect place to take the grandkids. There is lots of shade and a perfect little play area. The animal exhibits were very well done. A pleasant way to spend a few hours.
