A museum dedicated to the nation's oldest major soft drink - Dr Pepper! We offer three floors of exhibits featuring information about many different soft drinks, as well as a carefully curated selection of our massive soft drink memorabilia collection. Exhibits change regularly! You can visit our soda fountain and gift shop any time without paying admission. Photo ops outside the Museum include a Dr Pepper Green 1940s delivery truck, one of three original neon signs from the Mockingbird Plant in Dallas, and a hand-painted advertising sign original to the site. Of course the front of the Museum building itself is visitors' favorite photo location. We are a two block walk from Magnolia Market and the famous silos, and about half a mile from the newest restaurants including Torchy's Tacos and In-N-Out Burger.

I am a fan of D.P., so on a recent trip to Dallas, I had 5 hours to spare so I took the unlimited mileage rental car down I-35 (no tolls, but lots of traffic) past the Hillsboro Jct., across the Brazos to downtown Waco. Museum has been located in a former bottling plant, which adds a nice taste of... More

Interesting, quaint, nostalgic are the three words my husband used to describe the museum. I had read reviews about the $10 charge not being worth it so decided no go in with him. However, part of it is free and he just did that part and enjoyed it AND I got his picture next to the Dr. Pepper sign for... More

For an admission price of five bucks I went to see this museum as an avid Dr. Pepper fan. It's absolutely not going to blow your socks off, but it's a neat blast from the past that you won't see every day. Most of the stuff you probably won't care about, such as the life story of all the previous... More

My husband and I enjoyed it. But my kids 11, 8, and 4 weren't that interested. Worth going once. Groupon had a good deal.

This is a must see for local flavor, but not too exciting. Only need about an hour to see whole museum.

My son and wife are big Dr Pepper fans, so we thought this would be a fun diversion. Tickets are not cheap ($10 for adults, $6 for children), but it's not at all clear where the money is going. There is no attempt to arrange the exhibits in any kind of logical presentation. A large number of them are damaged... More

Husband and I took a day trip from Plano to visit this museum. It's fun and informative. We spent about 1 1/2 hours or so here. Enjoyed a Dr Pepper float before leaving. It's worth the $10 entrance fee.

This place is a nice stop, but it's hard to fill up a museum with just Dr Pepper items to justify the $10 admission so it feels a bit rambling and unfocused. Very little here that actually addresses the manufacturing process.

Theresa, we are so glad you were able to visit the museum during your time in Waco. Thank you for writing a review! The museum really focuses on the growth and transformation of advertising with Dr Pepper and the soda industry, but not so much on the manufacturing since we are no longer a plant. We do have a model... More
