I'm glad we went here - been meaning to go for a long time. But it's a one-time-and-you've-seen-it type of thing. The taxidermy tableaux are nicely done, and if you're an artist and like to draw from pictures of real animals, this is the best...More

Well we have no clue why my husband thought we would like this place but it was horrible. Hunters who shoot for the fun of it are the lowest of the low. No giraffe is ever going to hurt you so why kill it? This...More

I was never a fan of the dead animals displayed from the Brookshire family's trophy hunting. But the playground was wonderful, and free for kids birthday parties. After a recent ammonia leak at one of the plants in the Brookshire's complex, the playground was shut...More

Lot's of hands on displays and exhibits. "Old" farm machinery for kids to play on outside. Fun and free place to check out with the kids.

So many dead animals on display it was a bit overwhelming. Overall I left just feeling sad. My grandson liked the country store and the playground outside is very nice.

My daughter loved seeing the different animals and enjoyed her visit at the candy store...the real one at the end. Also they have great rootbeers Texas brand to cool off, we bought a dozen before leaving. Nice family museum and restrooms are very clean.

Usually when something is free, it ends up being low quality and not really worth your time. This little museum is actually pretty fun and good for a nice family visit. There's a playground which is quite large and well outfitted for kids from toddlers...More
