This was our 4th visit to this location. We decided to adopt 2 Servals this trip. Met with Monte, Candice, and Zak(animal handler for Servals). This refuge for the great cats, Lions, Tigers, Pumas, etc. It is a very well kept and safe. Each of the animals have a history. These animals came from Michael Jackson Ranch, Ringling Brothers Circus,... More

I was in Tyler for 1 day waiting for a friend to arrive in Dallas. This was the only attraction I visited and would recommend to ANYONE, especially with kids. I did the meet and greet with the "animal ambassador". Again, if your going to go it is well worth it. Fairly small park, but give yourself a few hours.... More

The cost of entrance is high but for a good cause. We took the guided tour with our three grandchildren, 14, 2, and 1. We had a great time! The tour guide had volunteered there for many years and really knew the animals. It is not a zoo and we did not see all the animals due to safety reasons.... More

We went to this park and were delighted with the great job they are doing. They have rescued unwanted, mistreated, and lost animals and they have brought them to a place where visitors can enjoy and they can live the rest of their lives. They have a great variety of wild cats. I suggest you get a guide. We had a guide,... More

Tiger Creek is set back in the woods with plenty of shade and a calm environment. Our guide was very informative knowing a lot about the big cats. It's an easy stroll. What a wonderful facility.

We had a terrific time visiting this refuge for large and small wild cats. There are some celebrities here, and a really wide variety of big cats, in a very relaxed atmosphere. The grounds have expanded considerably in the past few years, although it is not a huge area to walk. It is also fairly flat, so not a big... More

Since our last visit two years ago, new, larger enclosures have been built, with more to come. No roaring lions this time, but it was very hot and humid and they were lazing in the shade. Our guide was knowledgeable and good fun and took us to watch a demonstration (put on for local school children) of the hunting and... More

The last time we were there, it was sad looking. It was difficult to get around with a stroller. I would not go back. It has a good purpose, but not for a fun day.

Great place for an afternoon outing. Tucked away north of Tyler State Park on Hwy 14. This refuge is very clean and has lots of tigers and lions.

Great trip to see tigers and lions in great habitats. Guide was outstanding, grounds are immaculate and care and concern for animals is outstanding.
