Wines worth the stop

The wines at Sister Creek are very good and worth the stop by. In my option some of the best in the area. Very small place and informal but well worth adding this one to your tour.

I did some wine tasting here, and it was pretty good, especially the sweet wine. The price was reasonable ($10), and the guy pouring the wine was funny and knowledgeable.

Although not much room for a relaxing tasting, the wine is excellent (especially the three blend). Historic gin setting. Reasonable, highly recommend.

We were driving from San Antonio to Fredericksburg (scenic route) and drove by this little place. We turned around and went back. Glad we did. The owner was very nice. The wine was really good. You can take a self guided tour.

We dropped in on a whim and picked up 2 bottles of wine. Excellent staff and neat atmosphere, if you find yourself out don't hesitate to stop in.

The winery is in what used to be a grist mill and you can do self-guided tours. Enjoyed the wine enough to buy some to put in my suitcase and fly it home. Would definitely go back!

If you like Merlot, they have a great one. The winery is in an old cotton gin and you are free to tour the facility. It looks like they are trying to expand across the street as signs have been put up.

We had a recommendation that this winery has great wine, and after taste testing, I would totally agree. Only downside is that it is 20 minutes from Boerne. Staff is super friendly, and fun little 15 minute self guided tour

Vacationing in San Antonio and we're told to head to Fredricksburg for the day. We took the scenic route and found this vineyard. Great wine and service.

Consistently a great wine tasting experience. The staff is great, the wines are excellent, the only drawback for us is the lack of patio or place to enjoy a glass or bottle. I understand the owners decision to keep it a tasting room only at the winery, just remarking, not complaining. It is a beautiful area and drive, and well... More
