Found this place online, the man who toured us around was very informative. There is a little bit of everything about this area in this house. It was really unbelievable. Loved it

Very friendly and helpful curator. Lots of local history to see and learn about. A great variety of artifacts and even old homestead to walk through. Highly recommend this for families with kids willing to learn about their culture and the beginnings of Texas.

It's open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm and every second and fourth Sunday, from 2:00 to 5:00pm. It's free to visit but a donation is suggested. I took a group of Senior citizens and we contributed 2.00 per person. More
