The Center has a beautifull and educational exibit centering on the Rockport area Aransas/Mission Estuary. Especially interesting is the presentation givin daily using the hanging globe. I would recommend anyone at any age to visit this wonderfull learning center.

It's free to walk through the education center so why not! The coolest thing for us was the huge sphere in the little auditorium where they have regular lectures at 2:00 Tuesday - Saturday. They project their educational film on the sphere and it was...More

We really enjoyed this center. It had super nice folks and the live seminars on how our atmosphere is affected by certain things was super interesting.

Easily accessible science with a great presentation. Wonderful volunteers. COLD A/C which is a great break from the summer sun or winter cold.

They had a great staff and an equally great "seated" presentation of our planet that you won't find elsewhere. The rest of the center has great presentations of the local waters, plants and wildlife. Well worth a visit.

This opportunity might have been missed, were it not for the recommendation of Pete Walker, the Docent at the nearby Maritime Museum. There is a very interesting 3D holographic presentation of the Earth and the various weather systems and their influence on Global Climate. This...More

Kids and I visited last Thursday and were in awe of the world exhibit and the presentation on El Nino/La Nina. Hands on exhibit is a great way to get kids interested in science.
