I love Sunday Beach, it's the best beach hands down in poc. As a kid I always used to visit it with my parents, but they had their own boat (or we used the ferry). Now as an adult (without a boat) I decided to revisit the island, only to find out that you have to find a private shuttle... More

We stopped at the gas station and got a permit to drive on the beach. We were there late in the evening and it was almost deserted. Beautiful beach, not too many tourists. It was wonderful and we will go back, especially since our $10 beach permit is good for a year!

We have packed in and camped on the beach for several days, bringing tarps, rope, frozen water, lots of food, etc. Then using driftwood and rope would create leantos to stretch the tarps for lots of shade. Swimming at night we would encounter phosphorescent algae. Always lots of beautiful shells, and not many people. If you can handle roughing it,... More
