Beautiful setting with excellent access to beach and coastal swamp habitats. Take food and beverage with you as not much available for many miles.

When we had visited previously (5 years ago), the park was pretty much in ruins from the last Hurricane that had gone through. When they rebuilt the rebuilt the infra structure, it was made wheelchair/handicapped friendly. There is an elevated boardwalk from one of the parking areas that goes over the sand dunes. This boardwalk has a decent ramp. The... More

The beach is easily accessible by vehicle with a sign indicating the at what point 4 wheel drive is needed. The day we went, the sand was very flat and the water was flat as well. There were not too many people and plenty of space just for our group. The water did not get very much above the knee... More

We enjoyed an afternoon trip to this Gulf attraction while visiting Beaumont for the weekend. $3/person entry fee to drive into the park and then you can drive along the beach. There are camping areas with hookups or you can pitch your tent along the beach. There are marsh areas with wildlife and native plants and hiking trails. There is... More

This place is a bit out of the way but nice to visit. My route there took me passed numerous industrial sites so i was pleasantly surprised when i got there. Beach was good and you have miles to walk along if you want. It was very cheap to enter the park, $3. There is a nature walk as well,... More

After visiting Holly beach in Luisiana , which was peaceful but full of trash... Water was murky and instead of sand it was muck!!!! We visited Sea Rim State park in Texas and had a wonderful time. Entry was $3.00 p/p but it was a lot cleaner, with state park surveillance, bathrooms, etc Lots of shells, clean water, very peaceful,... More

The beach is great and clean! The restrooms are well kept. We paid the $3 to enter the beach park area instead of the free section. There were about 5 vehicles on that whole section of the beach which was wonderful and kinda private. No stress :) We fished and caught a couple sharks and an actual sea turtle (which... More

I recently stayed in the Beaumont, TX, area for business. Joining me on my trip was my wife and one of my sons. While looking for something to fill an open afternoon, I came across this little park. We spent an afternoon driving on the beach and walking through the marsh boardwalk. We had a blast. Of course, it was... More

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Sea Rim State Park. We stayed for a few nights in our school bus RV and enjoyed a few of the fun aspects this park had to offer! RV Park- They have 15 spots for RV and camping. They are in a circle formation, but very spaced out! Some... More

We just picked a State Park randomly and visited in July 2015. What a find! The beach was fairly clean (considering the hurricanes, flooding, and other weather). The beach had plenty of room and we did not feel crowded. The fish were jumping all around and the boys loved trying to catch them. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible.... More
