This state park is one of the best in Texas...you will really get to see some of the natural, untouched Texas coastline. Access is easy. The water on this part of the Texas coast is some of the best looking water south of Matagorda Bay.

As of right now the park is closed due to the hurricane damage they received. They are working delligently on things though, so check before you go on their progress.

I would try and call. When we were in Port A. for the month of February, we drove by it frequently. And it was not open. I believe they have had some issues with the hook up's being destroyed.
