My only complaint was that we were on a time constraint and could only go down the river once! Our kids had so much fun and are already begging to go back. The water is so clear. The chutes at the beginning are a lot...More

I had family in from Canada and we decided to float the river. NB toobs went above and beyond to make sure they covered everything we'd need to know to make it an enjoyable and safe outing for our family. highly recommend!

This float was a blast! Packed with lots of people made it an unforgetable experience! Suggest to stop at any gas station and get a $12 tube, the rental shops a way over priced.

It was busy, but we had a great time once we got on the river. We floated with Texas Tubes and they were great.

Ok we have floated the river many times but honestly is worst every year we decided not to go back to the Comal, at least for a long while. For us is not a family environment, too much alcohol and some inappropriate display of affection.....More

Going in at Landa Park is very convenient. The shoot & rapids are a lot more fun than the Guadalupe was on this visit. It gets VERY crowded and is congested getting on and off the river and also through the river floating, but still...More

It has been years since we had floated the Comal River. It really has not changed much except for the crowds. One the best places in Texas to relax on the river is out of the bag. However with all the weekend crowds, we are...More

We went around 11 am. It was a great 2 hour float. The "chutes" were pretty good And added a little excitement to the float. Before the weekend it was not crowded and there were not any incidents. Mostly families and a few college kids....More

Go early October. Water temperature is not going to matter since it is spring fed and maintains a year round temperature of 72 degrees.

Hi no... there are plenty of businesses that do have them, but you really can pull off the side of the road and go. Keep in mind, the experience is different. If you go rent, these businesses have buses to take you back... More
