I am almost writing this review from beyond the grave but my tenacious northern soul is clinging on to life. Just... Right, there's a reason there's no fat people on the dunes (Now before you start, I'm very overweight - I look like I'm wearing...More

I left my wife and 18 month old daughter on the beach asleep, decided to go for an exploration of the sand dunes for myself, as a nature lover. I followed the wooden bollards from maspalomas beach, very pretty and picturesque. I arrived at the...More

The dunes are spectacular to look at and it is a great shame that, in my opinion, they have been spoiled by men cruising and carrying out their 'activities' within clear sight of the main paths through. I am fairly broad minded but was walking...More

Was a beautiful place. The viewpoint is behind a hotel. You can go by a corridor in the middle of the hotel. And at the end you find that amazing view of the dunes.

How wierd to think that each individual grain of sand was blown across from the Sahara to form the Dunes. You can easily get here through the walkway through the Riu Palace hotel and is a popular place to sit in the benches and watch...More

Loved the Dunes! Think its easier to get a taxi to the light house at Meloneras then walk to the sunbeds near a beach bar. 2 sunbeds with no umbrella is €5. Prices at the beach bar are ok. The lady in the bar works...More

We went here on a day trip to see the dunes. it is a lovely place to visit apart from being constantly approached and hassled by hawkers selling fake designer handbags, trips and excursions etc. it really spoiled it for us.

It's a bit of a track, but worth the effort. Take plenty of water and be prepared to was for about for about 3/4 hour. Great once your there. Also if temperature is 25c in resort it will be 30c on the dunes. Be careful.

When I read about the Dunes, I knew I needed to go and wanted to walk the full length, apart 3 miles. The sand is amazing, climbing up the dunes, especially the bigger ones is fun and you almost forget you are at the seaside...More

This is a nice part of the beach with the sea in front of you and the dunes to the back of you while you walk along the lovely sandy beach. Also you got the hills behind the dunes and a hotel looking over the...More

A beautiful area ruined by the constant appearance of mainly nude men coming out of bushes which my wife found unnerving. She is no prude but the behaviour of these individuals is actually quite pathetic and in my view should be dealt with by the...More

What a beatiful place, it is huge. We visited it twice, 1st time is was very windy, but that made it all the better as you can see how the sand swirls and follows seemingly its own natural path, didn't see any swingers though 😡🤣😂

hi Playa del Ingles became quite large, but if you start from the Jumbo Center it is about 15 minutes walking distance . The entrance to the Dunes is at Hotel Riu.

Hay dos parking de pago. Pero son caros. Pero por la zona del Auditorio de Meloneras puedes aparcar aunque sea un poco incomodo. Y hay una especie de parking de tierra frente al hotel Boabab.
