So I have just come back from holiday and this definately the highlight of the trip. It takes under 2hrs up and a bit less on way down. The paths are wide but rocky with loose stones etc so decent shoes are needed. We set...More

We (2 adults, 2 children 10y, 15y) start walk at 9 o'clock when not very hot, climb up in 1,5 hours with very small stops, in top ~30min for photo, and go down in 1,5 hours. Because total lenght of trip 3.5-4 hours. In this...More

The highest peak of Fuerteventura is a very easy climb. But most is over not to steep somewhat boring terrain making the walk itself a bit dull maybe. The trained eye can see that much of the area is destroyed by goats that still roam...More

If you are looking for a good walk that is relatively easy then this is worthwhile. The path is easy to follow and you won't get lost. the views from the top are weather dependant and the view we had was mixed, but it was...More

We've done this walk three times over the years and the views never disappoint. Great day out if your based in Jandia/Morro Jable.

Went here last week (7/1/17) with the family and did the hike up to the peak. It takes about 1h45min at an average/less than average pace and it's an easy slope up most of the way (the last part is a bit steeper). The way...More

If you're staying in the Jandia area then a hike up to the islands highest peak is a must. Staggering views over Playa de Cofete await and even other Canary Islands if you are lucky. I'd recommend an early morning start and allow five hours...More

This is a 6-hour-ish hike, which is demanding at times, but quite accessible. There is no shade, so bring sufficient water (at least 2 liters) and food. The view down to Cofete beach is beautiful, but do bring a jumper, as the summit is quite...More

you can do the walk in trainers and it's long rather than steep. the only steep bits are the beginning and the end and the rest is easy.
