Located on the Costa del Sol, has proven itself as being one of the top marinas in the world. With many restaurants, shopping, attractions and nightlife. It has won the award "Best Marina in the World' several times. The Marina of Benalmadena officially opened in 1979, with the name "Port au Prince" but in1982 was named Puerto Marina Benalmadena. The thing that really stands out about the marina is its unique architecture/design, which has lead to its international recognition especially with our European tourists. Puerto Marina has a huge capacity to moor boats and yachts, with just over 1,000 moorings for boats from many different nationalities. 'Puerto Marina' is one of the Costa del Sol's busiest centres. There are loads of different shops including the shopping centre. On top of it all there is a large choice of quality restaurants. You are spoiled for choice. Fancy a drink or a dance? Or how about hitting a nightclub or pub? With well over 20 establishments, you will have difficultly to decide. Puerto Marina Benalmadena entails a big chunk of the town of Benalmadena and is a true touristic destination. There is also the Harbour Master, hotels, and the beautiful promenade that leads to Puerto Marina Benalmadena Yacht Club. Plus, residential areas of luxury and an aquarium among other activities making it a destination for leisure tourism for the Med and it's beaches!!

Worth a visit. Shops to look around and a nice calm setting. There's a good selection of restaurants and bars there and close by!

Absolutely lovely place plenty of shops and restaurants. The views are amazing and the goods in the shops are very nice and not mega expensive. Some very nice personalised things available

Not only the nice boats to see but plenty of shops and eateries. The only downside is being pestered by people offering all kind of boat trips, yet I suppose they have to make a living. Other than that a nice walk plenty to see.

Horrible low quality place with boats so as to make it a marina. Like Elephant and Castle or East Croydon in the 1970s.

Nice to sit and watch the boats. Some nice bars and sadly some not so nice. The marina offers some boat trips and there are a variety of shops up and down the marina
