Dear Mr. Thomca1, we are very sorry that your experience with our company was not to your liking. However, you have used the word "scam", which not only seems to be excessive to us, but also makes you liable to prosecution. In fact, there are all the conditions for a lawsuit. To answer your list of negative elements, we also proceed with a list: 1)The period you have chosen to go on a sailing excursion in the Maddalena Archipelago (late August / early September) is the same that many thousands of other tourists, from all over the world, have chosen. It follows that it is basically impossible to find uncrowded beaches as you would have liked. Nonetheless, our skippers always try to get to some creeks where boats with a significantly higher number of passengers than ours do not dock, or in any case to arrive there at different times.The second stop you mention in your review is the one at the island of Budelli, where the National Park of the the Maddalena Archipelago banned swimming since July 1995, so it is obvious that there was no chance of bathing but only the possibility to admire the famous Pink Beach. 2)We are sorry that the weather conditions of the day you went out on the boat did not allow a prolonged use of the sails, given the probable absence of wind. If we hadn't used the engine, however, you would still be there waiting to come back! 3)The boat used for the trip, as well as all our boats, is equipped with a fixed awning in the cockpit area which serves to offer some shade to guests who do not want to sunbathe in the bow, where instead, of course, it is not possible to fit a bimini top. 4)We are almost certain that you have bought the wrong type of excursion, or certainly not the one that people usually find in a tourist port like that of Palau, where mostly there are tourists who want to experience the thrill of sailing but at the same time visiting the beauties of the archipelago and swimming, snorkeling etc. When it comes to maneuvers, full sails the all day long, you are probably confusing a SAILBOAT EXCURSION, the kind of trip we offer, with a REGATTA, which was definitely the experience you were looking for. For next year, we can recommend you the Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo, you will certainly not be disappointed! 5)We would like to remind you that you have purchased just some shares of the rental of the boat, in shared use with other guests, and not the exclusive use of the boat, this implies timetables to be respected in order to visit everything that is planned. An exclusive boat rental would obviously have given you more possibilities to decide times and more. Even the crew on board has rhythms, timings, divided tasks to carry out in order to offer you the most pleasant experience, and therefore there are those who have to prepare food, then clean etc… stay on the cell phone, instead, it is not one of these tasks and for this we sincerely apologize. On one point we fully agree with you, and that is that the Maddalena archipelago has definitely wonderful beaches to offer to the tourists who go there. As for the rest, however, we think that the more than 1500 positive reviews received from our guests, who have spent a day onboard with us, and who have a completely different opinion from yours, can be enough as a reply to your negative review. We invite you to read some of them! Ps. Could you kindly tell us on which of our boats and on what day did you have the tour, in order to take action regarding the reckless use of the mobile phone from one of our crew? A thousand thanks.
