We visited Ordnance Island in St. George on Nov. 1 (at noon) and the Deliverance was not open. We would have loved to tour this small ship.

The Deliverance was close by where we were staying, so ventured over on several occasions, and while the sign on the ticket booth said it should be open, alas it was not. And that's unfortunate, for as you wander around the ship, and consider it's history, you can well understand that it is such an important part of Bermuda's history.

I visited in April 2015 & got to see all areas of the ship. I loved the fact that the staff dressed in traditional costume (they would later appear in a re-enactment of a public dunking). The entrance fee was very reasonable & it took maybe 20 minutes to tour the entire ship & to read all the information. There... More

My 4 1.2 year old daughter loved climbing the ship and the animatronic tour guide below deck. The ship is in overall good condition, the staff is extremely friendly, and the info in and around the ship is very good.

Thank you for visiting our replica ship! As you know it was damaged in Fall 2014 in our double hurricane whammy, but we are raising funds and will begin renovations. More

Amazingly small. Sadly damaged during the hurricane but still possible to view this boat. Cheap entrance with concessions for students and children. Well displayed with information boards and a very knowledgeable docent.

Thanks for your review! We love our ship and were very sad about the damage... but do feel it's still a great experience. Perhaps as some have suggested, we should just change the name to Sea Venture :) More

This exhibit in the middle of the dockyard in St. George was worth the $2 admission. It really gives you an accurate perception of how the colony and eventually country of Bermuda came to be. I am sure kids will love it even more than adults, but i felt the educational aspect to it was well worth the money and... More

Please note that my photos were taken after the October 2014 hurricane damaged the ship - these are not indicative of the ship's usual appearance. This is a nice attraction. It was on my primary list of attractions to see during my weeklong visit to Bermuda and I was not disappointed. Bear in mind that this replica is not in... More

Wow! Thanks for such a detailed review and the many photos Yes we were sad to incur damage during Hurricane Gonzalo... it was quite heartbreaking to come around the corner and see her masts and rigging down in the street. We are currently in the middle of fundraising and hope that in due course, Deliverance will be fully restored. More

Storm damage prevented us from going below but we toured the deck. The gentlemen we talked to there were very nice. Hard to believe so many people lived on this ship crossing the Atlantic

We've visited the Deliverance every week of our 4 week stay this year (we also visited numerous times last year!). My 4 and 2 year boys really enjoy it as do my husband and I. Very informative and at $3 per adult a bargain as well. A must if you're visiting St George's!

The full-size replica of the ship rigged pinnace Deliverance is a must see for an American. You climb a scaffold to the main deck, and from there descend a staircase, the same as found on the original, and from there tour the interior. One of the accompanying photos shows the plan in profile which is quite helpful. As you pass... More

Thanks for your wonderful review for The Deliverance! We feel the replica ship is a great way to introduce people to the story of the link between Bermuda and the US. A group of us from St. George's recently returned from Jamestown and again marvelled at the importance of this ship. We hope more folks take the time to hear... More
