This place is fantastic. I don't understand why it doesn't appear in Madrid guidebooks - a Spanish friend of ours with kids told us about this place. It is on the outskirts of Madrid - underground station nearby and free parking available.

It's a very nice science museum, but the thing is that with science - the most interesting is the explanations behind the phenomena, and here, for explanations you need to know Spanish. however, the entrance is for free, so worth visiting anyway.
