This was always de central plaza which gave access to the university, the jewish quarter, and the christian quarter. Impossible to avoid so make a stop and enjoy it along with cervantes statue.

I went there for the "Fiesta Cervantes" festival at the Medieval Market in Alcala De Henares in Madrid. I couldn't have asked for a better time! Lots of people and 1000+ booths with all manner of food, trinkets,etc.

We here in October and it's very quiet in the day but evening and weekends very different. It's a really great place to have a stroll and a specially as it's very don't and warm

Just as we remebered it from years ago. Quiet during the day but in the evening full of familes and friends wandering around or sitting and chatting.

The hearth of the city. Lovely things to see and also nice just to sit down and look around. Statue of Miguel de Cervantes is magnificent.

This square is the center of the old town. It is filled with rose gardens, so if you are there when they are in bloom -- you are lucky.
