Don´t expect anything comparable to the spectacular centuries old history of the old city of Alcala. This is a new addition which is pretty spectacular because of its moorish influence but was built in the 19th century by someone with a lot of money.

First step on the walk to the city from the RENFE station - charming little building (for a palace, absolutely tiny!). Unfortunately visits during the weekend have to be scheduled (so couldn't get inside) but outside elements beautiful and very telling of the times' style.
