This place comes as mandatory if you want to understand the history. Bit hidden in Plaza Cervantes but I strongly recommend to visit it. It only costs 3€ and the visit takes 30 minutes.

Unfortunately the Corral is closed until the middle of September! Shame for visitors who arrive in August! Infact there were several places in Alcala that were closed in August - eg the Palacio Laredo. The Monasterio de San Bernado also closed for renovation. Sorry this...More

Extremely interesting theatre. underground workings of how theatres worked excellant period surroundings. only tour available did not include english unfortunately but understandable to anyone with basic spanish. guide informative and allowed visitors to explore for themselves if required excellat

The only drawback might be if you do not have some Spanish as the tour seemed to only be in Spanish.
