Very nice cathedral. A good stop if you have time when wondering the streets of Alcala de Henares. Churches are always a nice stoop.

It's worth going into this cathedral to visit the tomb of Cisneros, who was so important to Spain as the founder of the University in Alcalá in the times of Isabel and Ferdinand. It's also the start of the "Student's Route" for the "Camino"--the pilgrimage...More

Beautiful cathedral with an interesting history. The tower was off limits due to the storks nesting there but the building is as beautiful outside as inside

Beautiful amazing Cathedral. Not very big. Very peaceful. Closes early though which kind of sucks! Around 6 or so!

This old church was just beautiful! We snuck in during a rain storm, and there was a mass going. While I am not Catholic, it was a beautiful experience.

Not so interesting by itself but part of the very beautiful old city of Alcalá de Henares, which is well worth a visit.

I recommend to pay to go to the tower to get a perfect view of Alcala; it is worthy. The Cathedral itself did not impressed me much, however a visit is well a try.

Do go to visit the cathedral when in Alcala. A nice cool building to be in when it was 37 degrees outside! The cathedral suffered great damage during the Spanish Civil War so has been restored. There were photographs of the original Cathedral on display...More
