We weren’t sure but decided to go into this building which is a mixture of styles but had the feel of a medieval house later added to. The history of the owners is illustrated round the building which adds to the colour.

This is a beautiful building but for me the eye-opener was the fact that the Fuggers had lived and worked in Almagro. The historical details are very well set-out and explained.

Unusual architecture which is crossover of a number of styles. Not quite Spanish, not quite gothic. But very interesting and worth a visit
