Glyfada beach is just beautiful with long sandy beaches! Unfortunately, during our stay or previous to our arrival, there was a pollution problem! From what I have seen, people were hard at work trying to clean it up!

The beach is quite small. Not much to do. Good for walks. Unfortunately it was closed due to an oil spillage.

We were very disappointed with this beach and didn't return. We spent our time at the hotel pool instead and we are real beach people.

The public beach in the centre of Glyfada is for the moment unusable due to an oil spill, but they are cleaning it, so it should be clean by next summer

Glyfada beach is very good for an afternoon walk or jogging. It is not recemmended for swimming. There are better beaches in Athens

Great view however the beach was rough and cigarette butts were all over the beach. They had some umbrellas and plenty of parking

This is a very poor beach. The top part of it has some very 'thin' sand and then, towards the sea, it becomes littered with pebbles (and cigarette butts) There's a few massive umbrellas providing shade, which is useful. There's also a couple of changing...More
