I am not young so I found the walk strenuous. We heard howler monkeys and some birds but did not see any people on the walk.
The trip was a complete immersion in nature.
We paid a taxi fare on top of the cost and...More
The first suspension bridge is the longest. I decided to be the last one to go in my group- bad call. It was swinging from the momentum of everyone else that had just crossed it. The trails and steps are in good shape here. It...More
I know that some reviewers have commented on the cost, but the zipwire is worth every penny. For $25 each, we were collected from Flores and taken to the park, which is beautiful, and taken on a 4x4 truck deep into the jungle, where the...More
This half day is much harder than you might expect: come prepared with water, good hiking shoes and bug spray and a HAT. The zip line guides are great and more casual than many places, but don’t expect the English speakers that the ad promises!...More
We went to the park on one on of our last days in Guatemala. They offer good service, with a free hotel pick-up & drop-off, attentive staff, and free waters.

The suspension bridges were great. The horses we had sucked. They don’t go using legs. Basically they follow along and are hard to get them to go independently. They hit them with rope.... if you’re from Texas and can ride you may be hugely disappointed unless it is very different than the 2 hr walk around the property we ended up with. Came back after 45 min because we trotted so finished early.
