This museum always has great programs for children, especially when the kids are out of school. The staff is helpful and concerned about keeping the kids engage. Worth the visit

There is some interesting East Texas History here and some things people may not know about the area. They also exhibit local children's art and encourage the Art's for our local youth.

The festival of trees at Christmas time is really cool and you will see a BIG variety of decorations and trees. The kids love art camp during the summer and they get to do a lot of projects.

Small, somewhat quaint museum near downtown Lufkin. Very conveniently located, very convenient parking. Very pleasant rotation of seasonal exhibits. My family and I LOVe coming to the Festival of Trees every year.
