The statue of Buddy Holly is realistic. The wall of fame was very interesting! Some names, i.e. Dan Blocker, surprised us and other names we had never heard of! The grounds were very well maintained. It's easy to stroll across the street to the museum, although we didn't because we had our dog with us.

Music lives on. Many featured performers from the past 75 years. Around the Buddy Holly statue are plaques honouring performers who came out of West Texas. Many of them will surprise you.

Good likeness of Buddy Holley. Good for a photo shot. Also, see the wall of fame and the Buddy Holley museum across the street.

Cool statue of Buddy Holly with walls of plaques for other famous Texas-born musicians. Good photo op to show your family & friends later. Right across the street from the Buddy Holly Center. A must if you are a dedicated Buddy Holly fan.

There isn't much to do at this spot but it's right across the street from the Buddy Holly center. You can walk there and get a few photos before heading out.

This memorial stands on a corner in downtown Lubbock and it's a great photo spot. Lots of old buildings nearby like the depot. Worth the time to check it out.
