Great place to visit. The field is in bloom in flowers, birds singing. Nice gazebo for shade. Not crowded. Fun place to relax and enjoy for a bit!

We have been here a few times and each time is an adventure. It is a small combo of rides for a nice day. It reminded me of a carnival as a kid. The park is fun for the family if you don't expect a huge theme park. We took it as a leisurely taste of fun for all.

I guess I was expecting more of a zoo type experience here and was surprised that this is a top destination in Lubbock. Basically there are a bunch of prairie dogs in an abandoned driving range in a park. Interesting to see prairie dogs in their natural setting, but overall not a major attraction!

The prairie dogs were interesting. They were very industrious and active while we were there. Some had also escaped their enclosure. Keep your pets on a leash if you bring them.

This definitely exceeded my expectations. They're so cute. They seemed to really love the cheetos, carrots, and Doritos people were throwing at them

Not a bad little (quick) stop if you are new to the area or haven't seen prairie dogs before. They can be funny to watch with the kids. Unfortunately, I've had them migrate from the field across the road into my front lawn so they aren't as funny in that environment.

Prairie dog town – Lubbock used to be a really fun place to go but it has become run down. We were actually there last summer and there was no grass and it smelled of urine. Little kids usually really enjoy prairie dog town and I would suggest taking some carrots when you go. The city needs to clean up... More

The Prairie dog town is a great little (FREE) stop. There were so many of them running around. We arrived early in the morning, and they were very active. A great spot to stop for anyone.

We have watched the Prairie Dogs since we were small.... nearly 60 years. It is an awesome place to see varmints.

Great little place! There were so many prairie dogs to watch. Grandson loved feeding the little critters.
