There Depot district of Lubbock reminds me of countless small towns on the back roads of SC or NC - except here I expected tumbleweeds to roll through. The sidewalks bricked with Buddy Holly songs were a good touch, but there's hardly anything going on...More

The Depot District has a great deal of options to offer the folks who visiting and the folks who live in Lubbock. Excellent restaurants, Buddy Holly museum, Cactus Theater with very professional entertainment.

Had some time to kill in Lubbock so we strolled down the depot district the local entertainment area in Lubbock. There's lots of eateries and adult beverage establishments in the area. We sampled several business's before going to dinner.. Didn't see it all so will...More

Not a whole lot going on downtown Lubbock. Can get busy at night but still a pretty scarce place to be. The party is at campus corner area.

Had a nice dinner at Triple J. Atmosphere and service was good, food was fair. Probably won't revisit.

We ate at La Diosa Cellars several times during or stay in Lubbock. Live Music on weekends, excellent service, and incredible food.

Start out at the LHUCA and walk behind the building to the plaza see all the venders and artists selling their wares! The Clay House and The grafiti building and 5th and J Gallery are all there in the same area so you can stay...More
