Take the tour, with or without kids... They can adapt the tour for the group and get into the technical aspects of raising fingerlings for release and restocking the area waterways. I personally learned a lot! Price: Free, donations taken but not pushed...

Stopped here based on reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp and were glad we did! Very nice facility. Be sure to go if you're in the area. It's free so be sure to make a donation. Staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly.

Took our grand baby here and she thoroughly enjoyed the aquariums. This place is a hidden gem. Small but informative. Don’t forget to walk the outside path to the wetlands. Hidden gem there also.

We brought my friend's 3-year old to see the fish here, and we all enjoyed talking with the staff at the touch tanks and seeing giant gulf fish up close. There are only a few tanks in the aquarium, but they were still awe-inspiring. We...More

Free aquarium and wetlands exhibits. The tour for breeding fish is well worth your time. The aquariums cover the different ecosystems in the Texas Gulf Coast.

Great aquariums filled with marine life showing what we have just off the coast 7 miles away. It's a great day trip for kids or families looking to get out and explore. And it's FREE!

It depends on if you just wanted to visit (plenty of space for RV), but if you want to stay overnight or longer, you'd probably need to ask the Center.
