I took my family there for the first time, and I was really surprised! The beach itself is safe because they have markers on how far you can go out, plus Harris County Officers are all around to keep the bad element away. There is a skate...More

This was a nice little place to visit, but if you want to go onto the pier, you will have to go the the store and pay to get on the pier. We did not.

Awesome beach and play ground. Excellent fishing pier run by Linda's bait Shop on premises. Really nice boat ramp. Been going there all my life.

With the recent infrastructure upgrades provided by taxpayers, this is a great bay front beach park. Weekends can be crowded during warmer periods. Festival times offer limited parking. Nice day trip from Houston though.

You could possibly use them on a calm day, but not advised. It is the thoroughfare for ships (Houston Ship Channel) and can get tricky if you don't know the area.
