There are trails for every level of hiker. The mornings are quiet and the views are beautiful, but beware of Texas afternoons as they can be hot and humid.

An incredible array of plants, trees and birds inhabit the area. The visitor center workers were very helpful. The trails were beautifully maintained and meandered through densely wooded habitats. I loved seeing carnivorous plants like the pitcher plant and the sundew.
