Make sure to utilize the women's restroom...its absolutely marvelous! So many intriguing artifacts, such as the moustache tea cup! A glimpse of old Confederate monies, guns, surgical instruments, handcuffs, etc. Also a Texas State Flag that has been to the moon!!

The building itself is very interesting. The displayed objects are clearly grouped and presented. One could spend a lot of time here. Much of it relates to Jefferson and the local area.

This museum is awesome! It has many rooms of great historical artifacts. It is actually pretty big and requires a lot of walking up and down stairs. The model train display out back is great! I enjoyed our visit to Jefferson and this museum.

From the outside of the museum, it is impossible to tell the historic treasures that it holds. There are four floors of history. There is something for everyone. The hostess was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This building houses 3 stories of regional Texas historical information and artifacts from the past. It is well worth the visit.
