There are some very unique and interesting works of art. You can take a leisure stroll and learn about each piece and the artist.

Cross the street (Binz St.) from Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, by the big parking lot, it's Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden, nice and quiet, surrounded by trees, bamboo and lawn.

Small but with a dynamite and eclectic collection, the perfect addition to your exploration of the Museum of Fine Arts or Contemporary Arts Museum across the street.

While walking around the Museum District in Houston early one morning I came upon the Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden. While I have visited this area of Houston on numerous occasions, this was the first time I became aware of this delightful garden,...More

We ended up walking through the sculpture garden on our way from the parking garage to the museum. It's a small area filled with unique sculptures and works of art. I never would have known it was here if not for parking in the new...More

Though right across the street from the Art Museum, we actually had difficulty locating this sculpture garden, tucked away behind construction barriers and parking lots. Yet we're glad we were persistent in searching it out. It is a lovely little stroll, with a solid collection...More

Get a drink or snack, my preference is ice cream; and walk around to view the sculptures. This place is a little hidden gem in the city and a great way to introduce kids to art and listening to their thoughts about the pieces is...More

I love sculptures but although the garden with tables and chairs provides a nice neighborhood respite, the number of actual pieces was low. All the construction going on around the site is also distracting. Tip: Purchase a beverage from the coffee bar in the MFA...More

Just attended Houston Livestock And Rodeo. We were on top level. WHere walking shoes. The incline is easier than stairs, but very challenging for elderly or handicapped. Food and drinks were very expensive. $8.95 per beer!

Loved walking in this space. Very peaceful, cool and inviting. Would .love to go back in summer. Most of displays seemed very modern and were well spaced, allowing you to move around them and enjoy all facets.
