Houston is blessed with an excellent theater district where one can enjoy musical productions, the ballet, the opera and the symphony. We recently attended the Nutcracker, which is a fantastic new production.

I love the theatre and make a regular trip to see a place or just walk around. There are sculptures all around the theatre district and you are in walking distance from eateries.
