Located next to the medical district and near several museums located in a nice part of Houston (unlike several major universities which are located in slums). Includes a major stadium. Rice has several Summer sports programs.

We were there conducting a training and you could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Everyone we came in contact with bent over backwards to help make it run smoothly. The grounds themselves were very well kept, the live oak trees were especially...More

From the gorgeous oak lined interior streets to the wonderful brick architecture, Rice is one of the most beautiful campuses in the US and certainly one of the best places to walk in Houston. Special places to check out include the new pavilion near the...More

Took my niece and nephews. They are not college age yet, but they loved the campus. "So many trees!"

I have walked and jogged through this campus many times now, and it is a treasure! Gardens, tree-lined streets and walking paths, cricket games and soccer games and softball games... And bicycle races! The architecture is beautiful, and the people-watching and scenery is first rate!

Rice is called "Harvard in the South", and it is ranked TOP1 on the happiest university rank. Book a campus tour and you will experience the warm culture here. Students here are so nice to you, and it is a very diverse campus.

Possibly the oldest university in Texas. All I one place, centrally located and easily reached on the MTA. Well-kept grounds and campus is generally accessible to the public. Limited availability to autos.

Usually you have to pay to park. Five dollars I believe. But the tennis matches are free to the public.
