Absolutely magical and festive! However, it was crowded and there were long lines. Nonetheless the lights were beautiful!

The zoo lights were beautiful. They were strung all over the zoo. Not many animals to be seen, but the giraffes were out and active. Groupon is available. Lots of families came out.

Have been to many zoo’s around the country. Really enjoyed our visit. The cold and rain didn’t even stop us from enjoying this zoo.

Although I am not a big fan of zoos, the Houston zoo takes care of the animals well, and there seems to be enough space for the animals. The zoo is a lovely green space in which to walk. It is best to visit on...More

The Zoo is large and very naturally designed. Elephant habitat was great. Watching the small elephant play and the large mother eating was fantastic. The lights were being put yup for the Christmas light display. Zoo would be great for kids! As two adults we...More

Avoid mid summer. Adjacent to Hermann Park. Ride the train, feed the ducks, rest and relax.. Near the golf course. On the bus line.

The Houston Zoo is definitely not on the scale of the San Diego Zoo or the zoo in Washington, DC. It feels really dirty so bring lots of hand wipes. We took our six year old and he loved seeing the giraffes. A lot of...More

Having been to over a dozen zoos worldwide, we were amazed by this incredible experience. We were able to experience several presentations and each was incredible. Great value and highly recommended.

I live in the DFW area and went to the Houston Zoo with family that lives in Houston. I don’t know what FOTAZ is. I wish I could help but I don’t want to tell you something that may not be correct. Sorry!
