Founded in 1978, Stages Repertory Theatre is a not-for-profit professional theatre with two intimate performance spaces and deep roots in the Houston community. Stages produces year-round, performing a broad scope of new work, popular entertainment and re-imagined classics. Almost all of Stages shows are rehearsed and constructed on-site in Houston, brought to life by an exceptional community of locally-based artists and craftspeople along with occasional guest directors, actors and designers from around the world. With a mission to advance theatre and enliven community, Stages offers a greenhouse for new talent and ideas and a place for art, artists and audiences to thrive.

Love going to this intimate little theater. Seating's easy and good viewing from anywhere. The location's good (just off Allen Parkway) and there's parking directly across from the building. Unfortunately, we just saw "A Midnight Clear" (a musical tale of Christmas) and all of us...More

I have been to many performances at this theater. There is not a bad seat in the house.Most recent play I attended was Patsy Cline.Music was great and story very entertaining. I never miss there Pantos productions. Very kid friendly, my husband loves it.More

Really nice place. We've seen a few things here patsy cline , trailer park etc and never been disappointed. A nice location and parking ok if you pre plan. Don't hesitate give it A try

Intimate theater with good variety of productions. Talented actors. Great date night shows with close restaurants for pre-theater dinner. Parking close, convenient, and inexpensive. Just a fun evening.
