We stopped in for a wine tasting and left making a friend. Debra was in charge that evening and since we were the only ones there she took the time to explain everything she knew about the wines and even went outside with us and took our picture. She is a great asset to the winery. We bought quite a... More

The staff is nice, the wines are ok. Was a little surprised by the exterior lol, wasn't expecting it to be inside a house lol. Anyways, it was fun.

The tasting room is not the best, however, the wine is (and the family that runs it is as down to earth and helpful as can be). Definitely worth a stop by for a tasting and in the summer you can sit outside and frequently enjoy music! Homestead Red is Ahhhmazing for a Texas wine!

Homestead was our favorite tasting room in the grapevine area. A family member from the winery was on hand when we visited. She was so informative and helpful. Very relaxing and low key, very enjoyable and all the wines were very good. We purchased a zinfandel that was aged 30 months before bottled from thier winery. They had alot of... More

While staying at the Gaylord Texan, we visited the Homestead Winery, not far away. It was good, but most of the wines offered were just not to our palates. Now, we visit many vitacultural endeavors, wherever we travel, and do appreciate many wines from Texas, but we felt that they were playing to the lowest common denominator. As we have... More

The wine is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you do the tasting you must try the chocolate wine. It is very good!

Nice family. Very rustic setting but great for live music. Grab a glass of wine and pull up a lawn chair and enjoy! Their reds are actually solid and their tastings are fun and relaxing. Worth a stop!

My wife and I love this place! The staff is wonderful and make you feel comfortable and right at home. This is the second time we visited and this visit may have been better than the last! We did some wine tasting and eventually purchased two cases of wine to take with us. While the exterior of the house appears... More
