This museum is closed, but has merged with the veterans museum in Mineral Wells. I strongly urge people to visit this Mineral Wells museum.

Visited here recently when buying a flag to commemorate my Dad's service in the Marines. I took the time to go through the museum. Interesting items on display.

No longer in Granbury. Portions relocated to Glen Rose, Texas. Due to lack of support from local officials, private and public businesses, this organization was forced to close in early 2014. They did leave behind their old building pieces of two airplanes that were donated...More

This is a small museum with a lot of artifacts from many different wars. There were two older gentlemen working there who were extremely nice and were more than happy to answer any questions we had. If you get a chance it's definitely worth stopping...More

The U.S. Veterans Museum contained artifacts from all of the wars, even the Confederate War. Granbury was definitely part of the south and a number of nearby towns, as well as Granbury, were named for Confederate officers. The volunteer at the museum was very nice...More
