Indoor part can be cold too

We picked the coldest day to be here and still enjoyed it but the heaters could have worked a little better

If you are wanting to stay away from the beach and enjoy a chlorine pool fun day this is the place for you! The park is small and we only stayed half the day. We ended up just going back to the beach so we wouldn't be so confined to small picnic tables. Your probably could do everything in 3... More

This wasn't exactly what we expected. We're used to indoor waterparks in the midwest, where everything is enclosed in one giant "room," towels are provided and it's not freezing cold! This indoor park has heaters along the walkways, but it's chilly. It was pouring rain the day we went and basically raining inside too because there is not a permanent... More

It was cold outside... The park had heaters going and places covered to protect from outside temperatures. Kids had fun.

Only the mostly indoor part of the waterpark was open for the holiday season. There were two outdoor body slides open which were fun but it was too cool to enjoy them for long. There was also an outdoor surf the wave area but we did not try it. There were two indoor slides that you had to carry a... More

Family fun!! Bring a cooler or a sack of sandwiches and snacks to save some money (food is expensive and not very good). Buy one refillable drink cup and use that to get water to keep everybody hydrated. Admission isn't cheap, but there is something for everyone: wild slides, a couple of kiddie areas, a relaxing lazy river. Kids have... More

This place was packed yet lines were minimal. Food is expensive BUT they allow you to bring your own. Galveston has it figured out!! We had kids from 3 to 17 to 40 and we all had an absolute blast. Plus it's not quite big enough to really lose people.

We go a couple of times each summer. We love the variety of rides. It's not as big as the New Braunfels location, but a good way to kill a few hours in the summer. The admission price is getting a little ridiculous...sometimes more worth it to go after 3pm when the rate drops a little bit and stay until... More

Visited Galveston location right before fatal accident in KC. After that I will never go back to a Schlitterbahn of any kind. In Galveston there did not seem to be enough crowd control or supervision of the lazy river. Too many toddlers without life jackets.
