Enjoyed the views of different historical places! We got to enjoy the views while learning history with our children! We did this while also doing the tree sculpture tour!

This area is full of beautiful homes with obvious aesthetic and historic interest. It’s well worth 30 to 60 minutes to walk around after visiting the Bishop’s Palace.

It's just so much fun to walk here and see all the old Victorian style homes. Many are kept up very nicely and have fancy woodwork and beautiful detailed paint jobs.

Good way to spend a little time driving around the streets in this area. Many beautiful Victorian homes and sadly many in disrepair.

Read Issac's storm or a history of Galveston, do a little reading about why they ere built this way, some were lifted 15 feet above the previous level of the island, see after the big storms of 1900 & 1915.

There are so many interesting things to see on the East End. Try the self guided tree carving sculptures and noticed the detail on the Victorian architecture.

As the name of this area suggests, this place is laced with old historical buildings, the most notable is the Bishop's Palace. And there is a old-ish church near by as well..
