The Grand is THE place to enjoy an intimate concert. All seats are so close to the stage you can almost touch it and the price is always reasonable. Why drive to Houston for entertainment when we have the Grand?

My wife and I have been going here for years to enjoy incredible entertainment in a very intimate environment. Most recently we saw the Beach Boys but have also seen Jerry Jeff Walker, Tommy Tune, Willie Nelson, The Oakridge Boys and the Temptations. The small...More

Great venue! Saw The Beach Boys, what a show, made even better by The Grand. Seating was a little tight, but comfortable. Staff was helpful and made sure people behaved. Sad some folks are so selfish and don't consider others with their actions. Parked in...More

The Grand always brings in a variety of shows but The Beach Boys were one of the top shows we have seen. They did not have an intermission so it was one hour 50 minutes of non-stop great music! There are only a few bad...More

Finally got to come see this beautiful building. It was as I had suspected. Back in the day that it was built people were much smaller than they are today. The seats reflect that. Quite tight and close together. Unless you plan to come to...More

We enjoyed walking through the building at our own pace and imagining the performances that have taken place there throughout the years. The Mandela on the third floor is amazing!

Loved the intimate setting, easy parking and great employees. Seats are very close together and there is little legroom. Make sure you go online and check the seating before you book your seat. Recommend end seats.More

Thank you for the review. As a historic theatre, our seats are close to the original configuration and folks were smaller back in 1894! Believe it or not, at one time the theatre seated 1500 people! Today our maximum is 1040. Good advice for those...More

You can dress any way you feel like. Yes to shorts and a baseball cap. I personally would not ware a baseball cap an event like this.
