Lee knows his history. His family has been there for generations, and he was a plethora of interesting information. He took time to tell amazing stories, answer questions and show me the awesome houses and landmarks of the city. He gave me additional places to visit in town. Enough that because I didn't have time in July, I will be... More

The information was great. The first part starts in art gallery with the show made for the History Channel. The guide had so much knowledge but it could have been a little shorter. It was easy to learn our way around Galveston after this. Glad we did the tour first.

Our tour started with our private showing of the History Channel show about the disastrous 1900 hurricane which features non-other than George Lee. We then piled into his Mustang... More

This 90 minute tour focuses mainly on the hurricane of 1900. A movie about it is shown first and then Mr. Lee takes you around in his convertible to visit a select few historic Galveston sites. He is a wealth of Galveston information, having been born and raised there. Although everything he shares is informative and interesting, I would have... More

Not just any Galveston History Tour! No one does it better than George Lee. He covers things that others leave uncovered, and does it in such a riveting way you'll be stuck like glue and yearning for more. His mastery of what his customers really want to learn is refreshing. His delivery is not only educational but hilariously comedic! You... More

George was so funny and entertaining! I loved the way he made history fun. We laughed the whole time and smiled for several hours afterward. Humor is great medicine! Don't miss this fun tour with George.
